 Solves the purpose. Jul 20, 2010
I bought this to set my keyboard at home. It works well. so far i havent seen any issues with it. It was easy to set up and holds the keyboard well.
 Not what I expected Jul 15, 2010
It''s not really what I expected. I ordered it thinking that it would be able to, at the very least, hold my 17 lb 88key piano. No such luck. Everytime the wind blows I have to grab my piano to make sure it doesn't topple over. Needless to say, I only use it at home(against a wall) and not for gigs.

I recieved a generic brand keyboard stand. I also ordered the Yamaha PKBB1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Bench, and it was a generic brand as well. There are many other brands out there that cost the same, or LESS than the "YAMAHA" brand, but I spent the extra money because I wanted and trust the YAMAHA brand name. I am not going to return the products because they are not bad quality. I am just dissapointed that they are being advertised as "YAMAHA" products.
If had ordered a generic brand stand, I would be perfectly happy and probably give it a 5 star rating, but I am dissapointed in the false advertisement. Just be prepared for a generic brand keyboard stand.
Stand Will Stand Up Jul 06, 2010
Bought this stand for my nine year old to use with her Yamaha keyboard. The keyboard fits great and the stand "stands up" to all her energy. We made the right choice for the price and durability.

Product was delivered quickly as promised. I bought the bench that goes along with the keyboard stand. Both are serving us well.
