This product includes a mounting bracket (made of tough ABS plastic) for convenient installation, a polypropylene grip and handle, and a florescent pin which glows in the dark for easy retrieval. 5Hope I never have to use this  Jul 14, 2010
This item is exactly what I thought it would be.

It was purchased after reading about a woman that drowned in the floods in the south recently.
She was unable to get out of her car because the doors were underwater. If she
had this instrument, she could have broken out the window and cut off her seatbelt.

I hope I never have to use this!

5Safety  May 21, 2010
I went to a senior driving class and was told since I live in Fl.we should all have this hammer for safety. There is a large amount of water here and in case we drive into it, it is the only tool that can break a window to get out of the car. Thanks for having this emergency hammer.

5PERSONALY SAVED LIVES WITH THIS (true story)  May 19, 2010
i take this little Life Saver every where i go, i keep it in my saftey back pack along with my helmet, shin pads, knee and elbow pads, danger whistle, flash light, and emergency food supplies, I TAKE THIS STUFF EVERYWHERE. i mean every where, and the Life Hammer is a welcome addition to my saftey back pack. i use the helmet for walking down stairs; anything more than two stairs and you risk your pares. thats the rhyme i use to remember to where my helmet. i use the shin pads for crowded streets incase i get kicked in the shins by some clumsy person. people crumble like tins, so remember to pad up your shins. thats the rhyme for that. the knee and elbow pads i only use in conjunction with the helmet for stair cases over 10 steps. ALAS! i had to use the hammer just this winter. i was on a bus, dangerous i know, but it was cold and icey on the ground, and that was evern more dangerous, i had on my helmet, and all my pads, as i do every frosty day incase i fall somewhere. but when the bus got to the destination, terror unfolded, the bus doors would not open! the driver was perplexed, the old dears on the front seats were concearned, i was scared but had to be brave, i had to break the glass other wise we might all be trapped and starve to death or suffocate, and i only had enough emergency food for myself. so i used the Life Hammer, and the little thing saved the day. i felt like a hero. General opinion let not chafe, it ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS pays to play it safe. thats the rhyme i made up after the Life hammer saved the day. its a LIFE SAVER. it saved about 30 lives that day. YES!

5Hope it is good as it looks/feels like  May 07, 2010
I haven't gotten any use for it yet. However, I am sure it can be handy when needed the most. Looks like it is made very well and it is sturdy. It is not too big or too small, fits the glove department of my car.

1"Strap Cutter" is a joke.  May 04, 2010
I bought this for my car emergency kit. I tested the glass breaker, it works great! The strap cutter is a joke. The angle of the blade is ridiculous. I tried cutting many different materials with the blade, it cut through nothing! The LifeHammer is good for glass breaking, that's it! Buy a separate strap cutter. Very disappointed.
