 Worked excellent in UK and India Jun 25, 2010
For last one month I have used the adapters in UK and India to charge two iphones, cannon camera, and amazon kindle in various hotels and homes. Make sure your gadget can take voltage upto 240V. It will say on the plug. Choose the right adapter for the country - just look at the socket, put american pins of the gadget in the back of that adapter and you are set. Easy to use, sturdy construction, inexpensive!

We bought them for our trip to India(220V-240V).It worked well there with USA (120V) bought following items:Laptop,Curling Iron & Hair Straightener (all appliances can handle 120V-240V).Before buying make sure,its just an adapter not converter,so if your appliance states (120V/240V or 120V-240V),that means this would work for you(just a pin change not voltage converter).Check the voltage rating on each of the appliances.

I bought this set for a trip to England. Everything worked with no fuss. Before my trip to England, I double checked to see that all my products were within the range of England's currency (including cell phone, ipod, laptop, and camera). The adapter plugs are very light and easy to carry around. I'll definitely recommend these plugs to my friends or anyone who's looking for a cheap and easy solution.

This was just perfect for a trip to Ireland and London. It is light weight, inexpensive and certainly did the job. No problems with it at all. great buy

I used this adaptor in Ireland for a blow dryer and a camera charger. Both appliances used either 110/220, so I did not need a converter. No problems with the adapter, it worked fine.
