Yes, I hate it Sep 07, 2010 This machine gobbles energy -- OK, that much I knew. But I didn't expect it would be so messy to use. The basket with its flimsy filter doesn't really even hold enough coffee grounds for a full pot of strong coffee. Eight cups is the most I can make, and afterwards the grounds are scattered above the filter and caked on top where the hot water comes out, making clean-up tiresome. It's hard just to empty the basket without making even more mess. Then you have to clean up the machine itself, every time.
The coffee's good -- I give it one star for that. But you can make good coffee with most coffeemakers. Why use a messy, expensive, high-energy one? -- even though it only takes half the time to brew, you spend the rest of that time cleaning up. Bah.
The best! Sep 06, 2010 I have used a Bunn coffee maker for years. When it was time to replace the unit, I wasn't interested in looking for another brand because I had been extremely satisfied with the first product. I really appreciate having hot coffee a few minutes after I push the button -- and find that is good protection for those around me (rather than waiting a long time for the first cup of morning coffee!).
Fast great coffee Sep 05, 2010 I bought this coffee maker as a bridal shower gift ( I have one also) and the bride called me to say that it was the best gift and she couldn't wait to use it. The husband said it was all he wanted and it didn't disappoint him. Fast, great coffee time after time.

RIP OFF Sep 03, 2010 This machine is VERY difficult to use. Decanter pours all over except where coffee or water is supposed to go, design of pot is terrible. I read the instructions, did what was instructed to do. My $10 machine made a better tasting stronger coffee. Dont waste your money. I sure did !

Only thig good about coffee maker is that it is fast. Sep 03, 2010 This is my first 1-star review. I am really unhappy with this coffee maker. The pot itself is so poorly designed that it impossible to pour from it without spilling. Inexcusable. People have been making pots since pre-history.
Secondly, there is no way of knowing how much water is in the reservoir. Hence no way of know how much water to put in the top. Leading to overfilling and overflowing and a mess or under filling and having to add more water after the drip has stopped.
Thirdly paper filters that are commonly available do not fit. They are too short. There is no permanent filter available that I know of.
Lastly, mine leaks and I have only been using it a month.
