| | Description | Bracketless wiper blades, also known as beam blades, are designed without the metal or plastic brackets, joints or hinges of conventional wiper blades. So snow and ice have nowhere to build up. In addition, the patented design of Bosch Evolution features dual precision-tensioned steel springs that distribute more uniform pressure along the entire length of the blade for exceptional all-weather visibility. | |

Impressive wiper blades Jul 20, 2010 I purchased these for my wife's and my car - we are both impressed by these wipers. They have worked though one PA winter with a lot of snow and ice and are still going strong this summer. Granted, you'll pay a few bucks more than you would for a lower grade wiper blade, but these clear you windshield and rear window noticeably better. I found this performance advantage worth the extra money, and I'll certainly buy those again in fall. I have tried a number of brands and types, and I find these to be the best I have seen.
Excellent Wipers Mar 06, 2010 Have used them for about 4 weeks now, in a mix of Michigan ice, snow, and rain and working fine. Look sharp, too. Usually use winter blades, but the linkage covering is pretty ugly and rips by end of the season. These have no linkage to ice up and should work well in all seasons.

High $1price- lousy Performance Mar 04, 2010 At $18 a piece one would think they would perform well, but I think they are terrible at best.
Been 1 year in the North East and still going strong Feb 13, 2010 Well it was about the normal 6 months time here in NJ to replace the normal metal bracket wiper blades, but I read some pretty good reviews on these bracketless wipers. When I also compared the price of these wipers on Amazon with what the replacements were for the old type at the store ...figured we'd give it a try. Worst case is I still had the old brackets and I'd just have to buy replacement fillers.
1 year later and these Bosch Evo wipers on a Jeep Patriot are still streak free and I still don't see any signs of corrosion even on the salt infested roads here in NJ winter months. The only minor maintenance I do is lift the wiper up when parked if snowing and do a window scraping of ice (not frost) in the morning if there has been accumulation. Anyone who expects a wiper to last forever and not do these 2 things have unrealistic expectations for a wiper. It's like expecting your engine to last forever w/o changing your oil, but I digress.
Either way at 12 months now they have more than payed for itself, and I would buy these again when the time comes..........
Not very good Feb 07, 2010 Not worth the money. After about 2 months the wipers fell apart and started streaking very badly and this was before it even started snowing. Maybe the wipers reacted with the windshield washer fluid but I was totally unimpressed with this product. Your money is better spend buying standard wiper blades and replacing more often, no better mouse trap here.
