BlueAnt ST3 Jul 29, 2010 I bought this product several months ago and have mixed feelings about it. To start, it is a great piece of technology. I love the way it detects movement and connects automatically to my smartphone when I enter the vehicle. I like that it announces my caller's name(if entry has been uploaded to onboard phonebook) or their phone number. I also like its sleek form factor.
Here's what I don't like. I don't like that most times, my callers cannot hear me clearly enough. They say they can barely hear me. Secondly, many times I can barely hear my caller as well. I have to turn off the the air conditioner just so I can hear. That's just not an option in Texas when it's 100+ degrees. I often find myself leaning toward the device and speaking into the mic as if I were about to sing on stage due to the caller's inability to hear me. That's not very safe as now I am concentrating on projecting my voice into the mic instead of focusing on the road. I will be looking for another device soon.

Not Perfect but it works! Jul 28, 2010 I read at least 30 of the reviews prior to purchasing the BlueAnt. I even looked at some videos on Youtube. Like the reviews says the Cons are that you have disconnect it from your phone within a certain distance from the car or it will still be answering calls while you are in the house/building. I can't get it to recognize my voice prompts either. I say "Call David" and it will say did you say? "Steve" or "Bob"...really? But it lets me know who is calling just fine..although sometimes I can't understand the name it calls out. I read a couple of reviews of using the voice prompt on your phone alone and then trying it on the blueant so I will try that. The pros are that the sound is great! People I call or that call me can hear me clearly and I can hear them clearly as well. Which is why I bought it in the first place to be able to take calls and not have to dig around in my car or purse looking for my phone. So, for that purpose it is excellent. I also like the visor magnet is strong and doublesided so when you put the visor down the blueant is adjustable. If I am on a call and reach my destination I can just take the blueant with me (into the house) or disconnect it and it goes straight to my phone. It also has a very long lasting charge life which is great considering all the other gadgets I have to keep charged. For $60 it is well worth the price. If you want perfection then you need to get a professionally installed system.

Echo feedback Jul 28, 2010
I have an AT&T Razor phone. Sometimes the person I've called has an echo feedback of their own voice (I do not hear it). Doesn't matter what type of phone they have - all seem to have a problem. I'm disappointed. Is it the BlueAnt or ??

Blue tooth ant 3 rocks! Jul 25, 2010 I bought this product for my daughter who spends a great deal of time in her car. This Blue Tooth Ant 3 has been a life saver for her as she can hear and speak into the speaker phone of the Blue Tooth perfectly and hears what people say perfectly too. Also, dials out when she needs to call anyone on her list. It's a great product...She loves it!!!

Most of my calls can not be heard, although I can hear them. Jul 19, 2010 The speaker is not placed in a good spot to pick up my voice. This results in my calls not be heard well, or at all.
