 Great alternative to broken USB ports Jul 28, 2010
I broke the mini-USB port on my Curve 8320 and rather than paying $75 to have it fixed, I got this charger from Amazon. Phone retailers don't keep any old chargers in stock, which is a clever way of forcing you to upgrade phones. I ordered this and within a couple days my phone was up and running once again. Saved me a pant load.

 Great option for damaged USB charging port Jul 16, 2010
The USB charger for my blackberry stopped working... seems the port on the phone was bad. Since I only use the phone as a phone and web access, I just needed it to charge! Of course the wireless company wanted me to buy a new phone... I found this option and it's got the phone charging and working perfectly again! So much cheaper than a new phone!!! Only down side is it didn't include a cable, thankfully the original one for the phone works.

the product was exactly what i wanted and at a great price. only thing is that it took all of a wk to make it to me. when i mail any pkgs to family and friends via snail mail, it only takes 3 days at the most.

If you only want a desktop charger this is okay. It only charges the phone and the charger has to be hooked up to a USB port on a computer. It doesn't allow access to the phone through the "Blackberry Manager". If you want to charge your phone use the cable provided and keep your desk clear of this charging pod.
